Funeral Details Released for Co-founder of Maple Hayes Hall Dyslexia School Brenda Brown

Tributes continue to pour in for the influential educator Brenda Brown, co-founder of Maple Hayes Hall School, who passed away peacefully last month.

Mrs Brown, who dedicated her life to supporting the teaching of children with dyslexia at the Lichfield-based school, passed away on November 19 at the age of 88.

The funeral service to celebrate Mrs Brown's remarkable life has been set for Monday, 8th 

January, at 10.30 am at the iconic Lichfield Cathedral.

Following the service, a reception will be held at Maple Hayes Dyslexia School, a testament to the profound impact she had on the school's success.

David Lowe, headteacher of the school said: “In recognition of Mrs. Brown's extensive contributions to education and her influence on countless lives, Maple Hayes Dyslexia School invites friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to join in commemorating her legacy. To facilitate event planning, attendees are kindly asked to fill in the form available on the school's website, indicating their intention to attend the funeral service and reception.”
